hi there

i did modifications to both cylinders and switches....i drilled, cleaned and lubed the cylinders perfectly...i also opened the switches (without drilling the axle), drilled and cleaned them....without any unnecessary damage.......now i have to seal the switches.....tried gluing them but they seem to leak up on the top part....

one of few explanations is that the switch isn't close enough to the switch body although everything looks like in stock shape

i did some severe reading...and even thought of making a tutorial thread on how to easily open switches and cylinders without doing damage to them....to spare those new guys of hours of searching and reading...only thing that i haven't got are those leaks...

so if you have any ideas that would spear me of reopening them...please bring them on

reopened it 5+ times and tried to reseal it but i just cant get the back plate close enough to the body...could it be that the superglue hardens too soon....few times i got very close but never got the airtight seal.......

should i use epoxy resin or the superglue.....it seems like there will be more time to get it right with epoxy but the epoxy is several times stronger and less fragile than superglue....so it would be very hart to open the switch in case that i don't get it right

i'm starting to think about replacing the back plate with a thin wide headed screw...i'd pack it within measures of the stock switch (so there won't be anything sticking out and it would still be as compatible and as usable as the stock one)...the air would get out more easily and quickly...the only thing that i don't like is drilling anything i don't have to drill.....

i know alex and ivan glue their switches so it is possible to do so.....well what the hell i'm gonna do it myself

still if any of you guys has suggestions let me know please

i worked with great care and managed to do everything from the first try without damage, pretty quickly.....i'll go try out the new glue

i sealed one.....and fully modified it by

1.drilling all inlets to 2mm
2.drilling additional holes in the body, so the air can get out more quickly
3.cutting some plastic on the black part that obstructed quick release of "used" air
4.removing 3 pins that defined positions of the switch

thanks jever, it turned out that i didn't remove enough Wink
